Samba Dance Shoes is the labor of love created by Tanya Appuhn, dancer with the Lions of Batucada in Portland, Oregon (USA). Like many of you, her search for the right samba shoe on the internet just led to frustration. After many trips to Rio de Janeiro bringing back shoes for fellow dancers, the business was born. These shoes are personally worn and tested by all the dancers in the Lions, including Tanya herself.
